Peng Yong
Senior professor
In 1986, he
graduated from the Department of
biology, Sichuan University, majoring in
botany. In the same year, he was
assigned to the Institute of medicinal
plants, Chinese Academy of Medical
Sciences. In 2005, he received a
doctor's degree in traditional Chinese
medicine from the school of traditional
Chinese medicine, Hong Kong Baptist
University. Mainly engaged in the
research and development of traditional
Chinese medicine resources and health
tea. He has published more than 200
academic papers at home and abroad, and
edited "Southern medicine and great
southern medicine", "green medicine
trace", "modern medicinal plant
dictionary", "new health resources -
Maka", "research and development of
Kudingcha", "research and application of
Chinese medicine health food", "Chinese
functional foods" (English version),
"Chinese health" Tea (English version)
and other monographs; won two
ministerial level achievement awards.
Presided over and undertook key
projects, general projects and 973
projects of National Natural Science
Foundation of China, as well as
cooperative development with production
enterprises.
At present,
he is the director, researcher and
doctoral supervisor of the research
center of medicinal plant genealogy of
Institute of medicinal plants, Chinese
Academy of Medical Sciences; he is the
chairman of fresh Medicine Academic
Committee of China Cancer Foundation; he
once served as assistant director of
Institute of medicinal plants, director
of graduate department, deputy director
of Guangxi Branch of Institute of
medicinal plants, and international
society for traditional medicine He is a
member of the Executive Committee of the
Ministry of science and technology, an
expert of the national science and
technology progress award, an expert of
the National Natural Science Foundation
of China, an expert of the international
cooperation project of the Ministry of
science and technology, and an expert of
the China Post Doctoral Fund. He is also
a member of the editorial board of
Chinese herb medicines, Chinese Journal
of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese
modern medicine, and modern medicine and
